学还是不学？

 我在国内是学文的， 来美主修CS，前两门课还可以， 现在碰上Javascript，都上了一半了还是稀里糊涂的，不明白函数，变量和值到底是什么东东，看了国内网上的视频教程，看似懂了，还是不明白，绝望之际，想求个建议：有什么学习方法让我这只笨鸟明白？我是不是不适合学编程，接下去会不会更难？我还有希望学下去吗？不学这个，我学什么好？
