This person must have a very big heart to help you. In China, 40+ is quiet not young as they retire at 60 (man) or 55(femal) . In Canada, 40+ is still very young, particularly for women. The government in Canada is encouraging people to work until 70 to retire.
If you want to go back to China, better ask someone who would really appreciate you , to know you to help you.
