It is still an age that energy is not a concern yet. For managerial position it won't be a concern. For junior analyst positions  he could be over qualified. From my feeling, peopl are mostly concerned about over qualified candidates who use the job as a spring board and won't stay long. So he might want to be prapared to convince people if that is the direction he is heading to.
