有gap, networking 遇到困难

我因为mid career 想换过一个更适合发展的方向，没有饥不择食地上岗，有gap.  用Linkedin发invite, 有的认识但不熟的前同事不回应了。networking 对于senior level 找工作很重要。怎么打开这个局面？
