Explain nicely, do not lie, don't burn the bridge.

In the metro area I live, the industry I am in, these things are not rare. People understand.

Likewise, 我和前同事+朋友接受了本公司counter offer后都没有受过任何不公正对待，people understand,当然前提我们是上市公司，很大，这些事对supervisor来说无关痛痒，没有什么切身利益，毕竟我们的工资又不是他掏腰包

我接受的counter off比外面来的offer还高了一点，我和同事是不同时期的事，并非同时，但接受counter offer都给了我们更高的职位，与更高的薪水

之后几年后虽然我们先后都离开了公司，当时来说接受counter offer是正确的选择

这个实在和正直与否不搭边，以我们的经验也不会有什么打击报复，故意留下你打击报复你，那得是多变态的人呢，如果现公司不好好对待你，以后你也会走，老板和公司又怎会不明白
