Exactly!

The guy will ruin his career if he does what he describes -- nobody will hire him anymore.

I was trying to say something about his approach/mentality, but gave up, because it does not make any sense to even have a debate about it.

If he still wants to work in a job, he shouldn't do that --  or anybody else, simply nobody would hire him in any future! Of course, it does not matter if he does not need to work on an job at all, then why bother?

However, what he suggests to do actually happened in American history, and constituted the foundation of labor law, which still governs the reality of the workplace in US. I have full respect to those who sacrifice themselves on this regard, but I'll just enjoy the outcome instead of joining them -- or suggesting anybody go that.
