Opening for Sr. Engineer with Computer Vision and Image Processi

Our company is located in Northern VA & DC area. We are looking for a software engineer to develop automated vision analysis and object detection for railway inspection. Note, since we are working in railroad applications, security clearance is NOT a requirement.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:  
- Design, develop, and test image processing and computer vision algorithms for the outdoor railroad environment  
- Perform software design, coding, integration and testing for the development of real-time and large-scale railway measurement and analysis systems  
- Model system performance and response  
- Develop detailed technical specifications  
- Provide accurate time estimates for design and development work  
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for internal and customer use
- Support existing products through system and software changes, improvements, testing and release  
- Conduct field tests and provide customer support/trouble-shooting
