The boating is sinking. If you can leave safe and clean, why not?
1. If I were you, I will focus on my future, not the past. So choose the option you think works better for your future.
2. To sue your boss, you need to have solid evidents that he is damaging your reputation.
3. He might have made some poor choices and judgements, you should not comment on that.
3. Arrange an exit interview with him to discuss every details in favor of your future
4. In any event, you should not take the blame. How he will deal with his failure, that is his issue.
