make the meeting be between 经理 and VP.  Try all you can not to say anything, even when you are angry.  Speak only if VP asks you.  And only stated what you have done.  Nothing more. 
The VP knows what is going on already, there is no need for making the 经理 lose face. 
It is going to be interesting.  Can you update us on what happened?
