请教executive networking protocols

我简历出去之后家里有事，刚好holiday season，我就去处理事情，没找工作。

$10B公司recruiter 要跟我做phone interview - 估计是她的VP有我的简历，说the manager has reviewed my resume and asked the recruiter to see if I am fit for a face to face interview.  这么说有点odd，感觉那个manager嫩。

家里的事我忙得焦头烂额，实在没心情jump thru hoops, 没回recruiter.

我们这圈子很小，不知道有没有给VP留个坏印象？再遇到那个vp咋解释？
