test engineer position-Irvine,CA

This is an entry level full time software test position in the Medical device R&D field. (Can not accept internship/part time as this time).
The majority of work will be in the script development to support automation and testing ( Ruby ) in an regulated environment,
Good opportunity to get into the medical devices industry.

Requirements:

1. B.S. in CS/EE/Biomedical engineering

2. Ideally 1-3 years of exposure in R&D in a regulated environment ( Medical, Aerospace ), will consider internship experience

3. Strong software scripting skills in : Ruby/PHP/Perl/TCL

4. Fluent in Linux/Unix tools, command shells etc

5. Knowledge in test methodologies

6. Strong team player and good communication skills.

New college grad will be considered with demonstrated skill set listed above ( course work, open source contribution etc ).
