这种管理方法popular吗？

很久以前，隔壁一个组，每人写的code都要放在一个shared drive上。彼此可以互相看别人的code. 活是轮流干。这个job你run几次，他run 几次。可以想象，那些code都乱七八糟。这种管理方法popular吗？
