You are probably making conclusion based on that my email has not been set up.  Well, things are slow in this big organization and we have to ask for these things aggressively.  I did not feel right on the first few days, so I did not pursue the email and other admin stuff aggressively.
People in this position are given very heavy work load.  It is only reasonable to give notice. 
I want to respond to your post since I don't want you to mislead other people.  And also please have some respect for others.  you believe in Karma?
