I am working as a faculty with 80K, however, the salary will be depent on the funding which I am not very strong.
Just got an offer of 160K contract job, but need to relocate. The job seems not very difficult but my family doesn't like the idea of relocate. If I relocate, it will be much easiler to find another job in that area because there are a lot similar companies there.
I just turned to 40, female and from my heart, I don't like to relocate because I have already settled down here, however, purchasing grants becomes harder and harder, so it may not be very stable.
Any suggestion about which one I should choose?
80K permanent vs. 160K contract
