Thanks for all kind replies...

One American coworker just resigned. He gave a 2-week notice. But in his level, he did not have bonus. But he has stayed for two weeks since he sent out the resignation notice.

For me, if I do the same - giving a 2 week notice, rather than staying until the last day of this month, will I be asked to leave immediately??? If yes, that means company will notice that I would have bonus if I the company allows me to stay for few more days???

If so, I even can not file complaint againt the company since the employment is "at will", and they can find an execuse, or no execuse at all, to let me go....

Please share your thoughts.
