Tell your boss, that you feel qa manager

doesn't have the adequate qualification nor the authority to review your design. Your boss should be the one doing that, or he can assign peer review for you, but NOT from QA.

Tell your boss, there is never a perfect solution/design in software, and there will be disagreement and argument over every single detail. Therefore, experience/qualification/responsibility is very important. Someone has to make the call, and it will never be QA.

If you are important, your boss will keep you happy. If you are not, it sucks, you can only being passive-aggressive then:)
