You donot need to prove your market value,  they do it while reading your resume, examing you technically, and interviewing you.

有工作时跳槽，　可以使用目前新水为基础谈判,　即使跳槽，　也可以避免保密目前新水照样达到目的.

如果你要85K左右, 就说medium 80Ks, 含糊一下. 最好说market rate OK, "I am very reasonable + realistic."    让对方出价.

 

过去的工资历史保密, 另外, 走出过去面向未来, 过去的工资不影响现在要价, 随行就市.

过去一个46inch LCD 1080P TV $2500, 现在是$600.

要价过高, "找死";  要价过低, 损失.

了解市场, 定出可行的范围. 而这些与过去的工资无关.
