I started a new job about 6 months ago. I usually worked 1 to 2 extra hours a day as it was new and had a lot to learn. Now, I decided to be back to the normal work schedule (7.5 hours a day) and it seems that my manager is not happy about it....so I am working 1 to 2 extra hours a day again....But one of the reasons that I changed my job to this one is due to the work/life balance (I was told that I don't have to work extra hours usually) and I have two kids....Certainly, I just realized it is my fault that I have raised the expectation bar....
How can I help my manager bring the expectation bar back to the normal? Thanks!
