Please don't do it without being asked.  If they are interested in taking you and don't want ot pay as much, they would ask you.  Plus, you don't have to give a specific number - you can tell them that you are really intersted in the opportunity itself and expect the salary is marketable and reasonable in line with the job responsibilities.....
