老公有个offer,和新公司说好四月中上班。忽然想起去年定了一个今年5月中2个星期的家庭旅行。大家觉得下面的信（to his future supervisor)会是压断骆驼的最后一根稻草吗？ 老公觉得我的要求（borrow PTO or postpone start date) 很过分。IT公司会这么无情吗？ 谢谢！

I just realized my family planned a vacation in May (05/11/2012-05/25/2012) by the end of last year. Hotels and flights have been all booked up. But I won’t save enough vacation time (PTO) by then if I join xxxx (company name) in April as planned. What is the benefit policy on PTO in xxxx? Does the company allow it being borrowed ahead of time? Or you would prefer I start my work right after the vacation.Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks.
