Some people will 填; others won't. I wouldn't do it.
The right way of handling this is to tell your agent that you need two week's notice after you have accepted the offer. You should've done this earlier.
If you take the written offer seriously, then first, you don't have one yet; second, you haven't accepted it. How can they tell you when to start?
