Short term Disablity insurance 每个员工都有,在工资单里扣除的,所以当员工生病或者生孩子的时时候,就可以用到这个保险. 而long term disability and family medical leave insurance 是公司sponsor 的保险, 不是员工想买就可以买的. 一般的公司都有为本员工购买long term disability, 但是family medial leave insurance是公司愿意推行而员工必须自己掏钱的保险.
