Having a gap is not something that you can change - just be positive about the gap (like, what you have gained during the break) and tell them what you can bring to the company....and try to see if you can make your status more clear on your resume.
一年半的工作经验（其实比较有价值的只有半年) --> make some points to demonstrate that your experience is not only 1.5 years but beyond - be confident and good luck.
