Do you have a strong Analytical Chemistry and environmental application background in industrial chemicals/gas industry?

What you will do:

You will work with a multibillion dollar industrial chemicals/gas company in their elite R&D team that is located in Newark, DE. The R&D Center is a brand new state of the art technology facility that houses the brightest engineers and scientists worldwide in developing innovative products and processes.

What you need for this position:

- Ph.D preferred, will consider MS degree in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry or related 
- Work experience in environment applications such as monitoring labs, stack emission control, or process analyst
- Specialty in Industrial Chemicals or Gas (In R&D Applications)
- Ability to influence peers and groups within company through technical leadership and presentations
- Strong ability to work on own and lead teams
*Industrial Gas industry experience a major plus

What you'll be doing:

You WIll...Drive innovation in research projects focused on development of analytical methods by providing technical leadership: 
- Translate the problem into R&D objectives, specify requirements and investigate options (based on technical complexity and cost) for solving the problem
- Support testing of analytical devices, including definition of figures of merits and performance tests results that can occur on field campaigns 
- Ensure the transfer of the results to the operations entities and provide support to the industrialization phase
- Take full accountability of recommended approach for solving problem. Build and Transfer “know-how”
- Work within a multi-disciplinary and international team including internal and external partners such as Original Equipment Manufacturers
