1. Report to your boss/director/supervisor/lead/handler, whatever your co. calls that.

2. Suggest your boss report to the boss of that team leader and pass your request.

3. Wait for further instruction from your boss. It is a co. managed about right, this instruction will quickly come -- if not, then that's a good sign of dying agency, get prepared to leave if you want to advance.
