大约两月前,我去了一家公司面试。效果很好:人事部门给我看了,详细解释了compensation package(except for salary);顶头上司及老板很满意。 “We will make this work out" 是老板的老板的原话。也见了今后的同事。还没到家就接到招人公司人事部门电话说他们move to the next step,要我做一个assessment test 寄回给他们,会打电话给猎头。接着猎头打电话给我要references and info for background check.两天后告诉我"everything is in place".
原以为很快这事很快会定下,不想等了一星期没消息。打电话问猎头,说当天就跟人事部联系。又等了两星期(不想显得太急)问猎头,回说“haven't heard anything infinitive.everybody seems on vacation." 就此没了消息。我已觉得something must've gone wrong,但也没再催问。What good will that do? 上个星期想了这事还是应该有个closure.于是问猎头。回说“I just spoke to xxx yesterday and they filled in the position on their own. I was also shocked...You know this is how it turns out when it comes to fees vs. no fees..."
这事就此依算过去,但我想知道究竟哪儿出错了。我不知道猎头是否说实话:如果这家公司不想花钱,为啥要浪费大家得时间呢?这家公司不像出不起那钱的。可能我应该早点儿直接跟公司人事部门联系,但那样好像不太合适。我现在去问人事部门合适吗? (主要想发现是否猎头做了什么)。今后还要不要跟这个猎头合作呢?大家有过类似经历吗?
