关于Retiree Medical

recruiter发了个BENEFITS的文件，里面有关于Retiree Medical 的信息：

“If you have at least 10 consecutive years* of full-time service when you retire,company offers you and your spouse medical benefits when you retire. Other eligibility requirements include retiring at age 55 or older and being enrolled in an company medical option on your retirement date ..."

这个退休后 的medical benefits有多大实际用处呢？是不是不用和老墨一起在医院排队的意思？　多谢！
