2011 NACSA China Trip Call for Business Plan Long anticipated 2011 NACSA China Trip is coming. The delegation will tour major high-tech parks, successful first-tier corporations and startups in China. You will have a great experience in building business and personal relationships as you are exposed to direct dialogues with high-ranking government officials, corporate executives, venture capitalists and private investors. With fast-paced trip schedule, NACSA carefully tailors trip itinerary to visit selected cities and organizations which have good standing relationship with NACSA so that your business plans will get preferred recommendations and the funding process could be expedited. Schedule (Tentative): Date: Apr. 17 to Apr. 30, 2011 Places: 北京中关村, 亦庄， 天津工业园区, 上海张江高科, 无锡高新区 及 无锡新区海外引才工作 站, 镇江高新区, 苏州工业园区, 太仓, 嘉兴, 深圳 Qualifications: The participants should: Hold at least a Master’s degree and/or ten years of working experience in the relevant industry. Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis depending on the merits of the business plan Speak English and/or Chinese Have valid passport or visa to enter China and return to the US Be responsible to arrange and pay for the international roundtrip airfares and personal spending in China (NACSA will try its best to defray the cost incurred in China whenever possible) Application Procedures: Submit 2-page executive summary of business plan, along with your Bio and the application form to [e-mail]. You will be informed about the final itinerary, things to be prepared and how to make the trip successful. You will also have opportunities to ask the previous delegates about their experience, to get the insights on how to pitch your business proposal, and the approaches to secure a government or VC founding. Send $1000 deposit to NACSA, which covers the transportation, hotels, and meals in China, after receiving the acceptance notice from NACSA by 3/1/2011. Arrange the international round trip tickets from your US city to the designated city, China according to the acceptance notice. Business Plan Requirements: Business plan for NACSA China Trip is preferred in both Chinese and English. In very special cases, NACSA can help to translate English version into Chinese. The preferred areas are IC design, semiconductor sensor/detector, green tech, smart grid, microelectronic device (Logic, memory, LED, MEMS, etc.) manufacturing, semiconductor equipments, consumer electronics, internet products, software, health/medical devices, wireless and network technologies. NACSA BODs may schedule 1:1 session with you to review the business plan and provide you critiques. Applicants will be notified the final results by 3/1/2011.
