Toad应该是oracle上开发的，方便象我们这样终端用户的应用程序吧？我们team也装了Toad，用来query database，searching keyword in text variables with length greater than 1000 characters, which sounds like a text mining thing. as you know, char variable with length greater than 1000 will be trancated by SAS and only the first 999 chars will be displayed. But I barely use it and have very limited knowledge :(
