    做父母的很多都遭遇过这种困惑：儿女进入大学，却不知道毕业以后想做什么。高额的学费加上凄凉的找工前景， 令父母感到很大的压力。那么父母怎么才能帮助他们的子女取得职业方向感呢？
 
    在她的新书“家长指南--学院及职业：如何帮助，而不是彷徨”， 职业顾问芭芭拉-库克提供了以下建议：
1） Encourage your child to conduct informational interviews -- 鼓励孩子进行信息面试；
2） Introduce your child to career interest inventories -- 把职业兴趣库存介绍给你的孩子；
3） Prompt your child to research the job market -- 提示你的孩子去研究就业市场；
4） Have your child write a 30-second want ad -- 让孩子写一个30秒的希望广告；
5） Keep a positive attitude -- 保持积极的态度；
