renew with recruiter company

我现在是被recruter卖到的XX公司做contract工作。 六个月合同到期了， XX公司想留我接着做contract， 公司可以跟我直接签合同， 不用通过recruiter company，这样我也能多挣些， 但是我发现我当初的offer letter with recruiter company 有这条， 一年内， 我只要为XX公司， 必须通过recruiter company。 是不是只能通过recruiter company ？有没有其他途经？ 或者renew时， 我跟recruiter 多要些salary？
