gift to my manager?

  I need suggstion from friends here. I learn a lot from this website. Thank you very much! 

  I am a contractor before. My manager helps me a lot to recommand me to other group in the same company and become a full time employee. I am going to leave our current group soon. What's kind of gift good for my manager? Chinese green tea and/or coffee shop gift card or restrauant gift card? What's reasonable budget for gift? My manager is American.
