Today's finance news: IBM offers 1.7 Billion to buy Netezza.

Netezza is a database specially used in Data Warehouse for OLAP (Online Analytical Processing). For example, Google using Netezza.

Actually the foundation of Netezza is from a open source database PostgrySQL.

PostgrySQL originally developed by 油洗薄壳荔, the two Chinese Postdoc
Andrew Yu and Jolly Chen, replaced Postgres' POSTQUEL query language with an extended subset of SQL. They renamed the system to Postgres95.
