Many American think raising girls are easier than raising boys since boys have more responsibility and social works waiting for them while girls can do whatever they want. The mind really have impact on kids.

I am a female and I do well in Math from very beginning and have been encouraged to do so well in China, I especially love geometry. But I am not sure if I will do well if I grew up in different envionment and never discovered this love. Natures are very much infulenced by environment. Look at toys in the market, girls are "encouraged" to play with baby, dolls, etc. Food Advertisement all have housewives instead of househu*****ands. These influence people from generation to generation.

So while you thinks you lost opportunity to be a housewives and manys really benefit from the concept of "women holds of half of the sky".
