Electrical Engineer or Software Engineer, which one is better?

我现在面临职业选择.以前是 Electrical Engineer,既做硬件也做软件. 去年换了工作,变成 Software Engineer,就只写程序了.但是感觉自己写程序水平一般.最近我们公司内部另外一个部门招 Electrical Engineer, 我想申请. 不过心里有点纠结,如果这次换成 Electrical Engineer, 以后可能再也不能成为Software Engineer.不知这对未来找工作或发展好不好.另外年龄大了以后,Electrical Engineer 是不是比Software Engineer更好?
