What am I going to do to reduce the effect?

I applied a job month ago and got a email last week. It said I met the job requirements. Same time I lost my current job. Do you think it is going to effect the appling job? What should I do to reduce the effect?
Second,I got an interview from same company two month ago, but it was different department.I know they have same HR. Is same IT manager who does interviews too? If yes,I will have nothing or show him a new me? ( I did not give them my presentation for the first time interview that I already prepared).
