about background check

已经离开公司了，还能算currect job吗？招人单位能理解why不能联系currect job，但如果已经不在那工作，那么就没理由不让人check 吧？不在那里工作了，也不敢谎称还在那工作吧?最近我也一直在考虑这个问题，所以天天受部门老板的气，也不敢辞职...._:'(
