voluntary lay off 能领 unemployment吗？

我是VOLUNTEER LAY OFF的。申请了UNEMPLOYEMENT, 被拒了，说我 QUIT FOR PERSONAL REASON, REASON FOR QUITTING WAS NOT GOOD CAUSE CONNECTED WITH WORK. 是我自己选择拿PACKAGE走人的，因为不想在原来公司干了。请问在这种情况下还值得APPEAL吗？我在TEXAS. 谢谢！
