Nowdays,depending on the study area and the university graduated from, you may not easily land a research faculty job. moreover, it is very difficult to get research funding in a research university, ending up just teaching and suffering. Actually, 3-year teaching experience helps for landing a better faculty job later.If the money is not bad, why not take it?
