it needs luck for a good pay

In my previous job, several coworkers made much more than I. But their skill was way behind me. I did not checked other people's salary, but one person told me it's not fair that mine was lower than his. I told him that I took this job means I am OK with the salary. 要学会知足常乐. Once I found a better position, I just left.
