联邦税报学费，该多交州税吗？

我在联邦２００８年的 １０４０ 报了＄２４００ 的学费，这几天收到州里来信。MD 州说我 claimed a deduction for tuition and fees on federal return, 他们给我弄了个 addition modification in Maryland Return, 连税加利息要补交二百几十块。

有谁碰到过这种事？谢谢。
