菜鸟请教前辈

在找工作，看中的一个位置，申请的时候就要求提供contact information for three references。

我还没跟现老板说想换工作，所以不想现在就给contact information for references。等有谱了，再跟现老板说，然后再给对方提供。请教我在cover letter里要怎样表达这层意思？
