Keep asking what evidence is needed in the future
- how many people need to complain about her
- what witness do you need for violence
- does noice count
- does body injury count, etc

By raising these issues, you manage the perception that the issue is how to document the evidence, not whether the violence occurred. This will also intimidate the woman.
