请教一下ECOON + STAT前途如何？

一个亲戚的孩子，经济的硕士，感觉不好找工作。因为原来是文科，不好转太技术的专业，有人推荐STAT。 想请教一下，如果ECON + STAT两硕士， 一般职业方向是什么？ 哪些技能/学科是要特别注意学习加强的？
