a quality decison making should be based on 1) your objective and 2) enough infomation.

the key info you are missing is the chance you can be a regular employee in the 大公司.

Being a contractor,
1) you need pay full social security TAX
2) but you might contribute SEP IRA.

Since your hubby already has a decent job, I would take
the offer from small company if they would give me a lot of options. Otherwise I would go to the big company if they hint the possibility of leading to a regular employee
