Hi all, many thanks for your input, specially for the link from 蒙蒙雾. Some background information I didn’t mentioned in the email. The email from HR mentioned that they are going to offer in the range of eighty due to the cost difference in ME and CA. However, they also mentioned that they don’t offer a lower salary than the candidate's current salary normally. With that, they will assist with my relocation which can be costly from CA and they asked me “what your initial thoughts on a salary are”?
