follow-up on fighting against sr director

今天一来， 老板就把我叫到办公室谈如何和sr director作对。看来他也琢磨了一个周末， 而且似乎在周末已和大老板通过气了。
sr director 又给我电话谈这个new program。但基本是照我要做的意思来做，只是形式上在他那边走一过场。我告诉老板新进展， 说老头子似乎改主意了。老板说大老板和sr director谈过了。似乎一切正常。但不知为什么， 老板看我的眼神充满了怜悯， 就象看一只待宰的羊羔。我和他已经相当的熟悉了。我自信不会看错。

另一件有点莫明其妙的事： 大老板要搞一个group activity， 给大家作personality evaluation 号称可以增加communication efficiency。 我朋友在给大老板组织此事，半开玩笑的告诉我这个活动是专为我搞的。我开始当他开玩笑。今天大老板发email定活动时间，正好我那几天不在。平常这种活动有一两个人不在是常事，从来没有因为一个人改时间的。今天我刚把decline message 发出去， 活动时间就改到了一星期后。联想到老板的奇怪的眼神， 让我忍不住又琢磨有，什么事要发生。 请大家帮忙分析一下。可有人有类似的经历的？
