该不该到美国

本人做IT的在日本已经干了10年，现在有个机会到美国德州休斯敦去（因为lp），
犹豫去还是不去，去了有没有工作,本人java做过很长时间，oracle有认证
可以熟练使用。但是英语差些，本科学的快忘干净了。

那位给我指点一下，下一步该怎么做。
