i am rereading the novel Catcher in the Rye in my spare time to pay tribute to the revered reclusive author JD Salinger on his demise.

i read Catcher several years ago, I found Holden( the main character) irritating. The word i remember most from the book is "phoney". but i have to admit that i was not a good reader at that time.

this time, i'm gaining a new perspective about the book:)
