因为我并不打算在此长待，所以对这些压制上不是太难过――谁叫我跟老板合不太来呢？但是即便如此，我也不能默默承受就算了，我不为在这的什么职业目标但我也要为自己的名声争一争。所以我一方面是尽力拍着小老板的马屁（有一定的效果，至少稳住了他），一方面努力工作、争取机会。

现在，我有些工作做得不错，也有些能提高group工作质量和效率的成果或建议。但恰恰这些工作是改进了小老板以前的工作，所以要是提出来，小老板肯定不会高兴的。lead工程师当然是知道的，他当然不会积极地采用或推荐给小老板。但我不甘心这么好的东东就烂在那里，再说我也希望至少大老板能知道我的贡献――这对他对我的performance评估也有好处啊。

-- Take with your manager first, and privately, show him what you did, tell him it his his choice whether make the improvement or not. It is his call, no matter what, you will be happy with his decision.

-- What you car is: the manager will give you a good recomendation for your next job hunting...in the future...
